ZORRO utilizes our SAFS (Skyflex Active Foil System) design. SAFS is our reflex foil design which enables ZORRO to possess a high top speed even with low to moderate wing loadings, together with a foil that remains solid even if the brakes are accidentally applied at full speed; an extremely crucial part of the philosophy of our Power Series design team, and Just one of the many features which makes ZORRO well suited to reflex newbies as well as with the experts.
DGAC certified and aimed at the intermediate to expert PPG pilot, ZORRO is for those pillots who are looking for a reflex wing that can be flown fast, yet with the ability to also offer efficiency and fun too, along with manageable take-off and landing speeds.
Why Zorro?
We wanted to make a wing that was capable of fast and stable speeds with fun handling, but most importantly, one that was also tolerant to pilot error, especially when flown at high speed.
Our unique Skyflex Active Foil System (SAFS) reflex profile was designed to achieve this.
Zorro’s clever distribution of pressure and relatively deep mid to trailing edge foil section ensures stability throughout the speed range.
Zorro has been a long time in the making but our PPG design and test team have been hard at it to bring you this very special wing. Designed by Juan Salvadori and Paco Guera, we bring you a wing that is super versatile to suit both intermediates and experts.
What exactly is Zorro?
ZORRO is a dedicated paramotor reflex wing designed to offer the pilot high levels of versatility in both performance and handling, whether cruising fast on cross country flights or just playing and having fun among the local terrain.
Which size is best?
Matching pilot skill level to wing loading is an important factor for safe and manageable flight.
Wing loading plays a large part in how Zorro handles in flight and should always be considered when choosing which size Zorro to fly. Simply put, lighter load = intermediate, heavier load = advanced.
Most intermediates will be best suited loading around the middle of the weight range. High cruising speeds are still achievable.
